Scuba diving and snorkeling in Savai'i
The scuba diving in Samoa is amazing - reefs, wrecks, colourful coral and fish, rays and turtles, and great visibility, usually to around 30 metres. Dive Savai’i -based opposite the resort - is run by Olaf and Tina, and offers PADI dive courses and guided tank dives. They also offer snorkeling trips and snorkelling gear rental.
Two of Savai’i’s favourite dive sites - the wreck, Juno and the Coral Gardens - are just a few minutes out to the reef on the Dive Savai’i boat. Transfers for divers staying in Manase are free.

Swimming with the Turtles
Savai’i is one of very few places you can get up close and personal with a green turtle.
The turtles at the local Swimming with the Turtles attraction are hand fed and not shy of humans at all - you can get in the water with them or watch from the edge of their pool.
Green turtles are protected here, with the Samoan fishing and environmental ministries overseeing the welfare of the spectacular creatures.
Swimming with the Turtles is within walking distance of Le Lagoto Resort & Spa - just don’t forget to take plenty of water and wear a hat and sunscreen!
