Cycling
The coastal ring road, with resorts dotted conveniently apart, makes Savai’i the ideal cycle touring destination. Ride alongside sparkling lagoons and through lush rainforest, while visiting traditional villages, taking in the local plantations, and making friends. Bring your bike from home or hire one nearby. Fishing The waters surrounding Savai’i team with fish — including masi-masi, yellow and blue fin tuna, Pacific blue and striped marlin, wahoo, trevally and snapper — making ours some of the best fishing grounds in Samoa… you never know what you might catch! Email [email protected] for information on organising a fishing trip. Snorkelling and diving The colourful coral and tropical fish must be seen to be believed! Snorkelling equipment can be hired from Dive Savai’i, opposite the resort. Kayaking & paddleboarding Le Lagoto Resort & Spa offers complimentary use of kayaks and paddleboards to all in-house guests. Sign up at front desk to get your paddle ! Village walk You’ll notice that time moves more slowly in Samoa, particularly in the village. Take a walk and see for yourself, or join one of our experienced tour guides for an informal evening stroll. Ask at Reception for more information. Library Borrow a book from our library in the reception area to enjoy while you laze on a sun lounger. Come home time, you’re also welcome to leave your used holiday reading on the shelves to be flicked through by future guests. |
